Emily MacDonald, School Counselor
This fall marks my 5th year here at Milford Middle School. Prior to working at MMS I worked to provided counseling to women suffering from a substance use disorder. I graduated from UMass Lowell with a BA in sociology and then I studied at Rivier University and received a Master of Education in School Counseling. In my free time I love being outdoors and enjoying time with my daughters. I truly believe that if people want to see change that they must do things differently. I look forward to supporting our MMS students in creating positive changes.

Wendy Vaupel, School Counselor
September of 2019 marks the beginning of my 20th year working in Milford Schools! I began working with the district as the school social worker at the middle and elementary levels. After three years in that role, I transitioned to the middle school as a counselor and have been here since. I studied at Hofstra University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and then Adelphi University where I received my Master of Social Work degree. I truly enjoy working with students at the middle school level...they are inquisitive, challenging and evolving! In my free time I love to travel, read, spend time with family and friends, and dote on my Basenji dog, Ireland.

Erin Richardson, School Social Worker
I am the newest member of the Student Services team at MMS. Prior to working at MMS I worked for two years at The Youth Council in Nashua, NH, where I worked at both Elm Street and Fairgrounds Middle schools meeting with students for supportive counseling services in school. I have also previously worked at a homeless shelter for women and children. I received both my BSW and my MSW from the University of New Hampshire. In my free time, I love to travel, be outdoors, and cook. Over the past three years I have also been slowly learning to ski. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at any time as I will do whatever I can to help our students be successful.
